Listening as a Microscope is where we start to examine the specific songwriting choices that make up the song. As we listen we’re focused on the microscopic levels of analysis that break down the song into parts. This is where our analytical listening skills get pinpoint focused and we’re no longer listening to the song we’re listening FOR certain choices.
